Untitled

No  cards , Just this …Happy Easter!

We don’t speak in prayers

or read from holy books.

We speak in petals

and quiet knowing looks.

We find the silvery moon glowing against the  tree,

or the soft shade of the autumn sun smiling perfectly,

We see the world in a curious way—

we see all the fishes, the shark, the stingray.

We smell the grass, kiss the sun, bite the peach,

Or smell the wave, catch the rainbow, as it passes our cheek

and makes our face glow.

I think of air on my face, and my skin—

I think of you when the seasons begin.

You are the spring, the summer,

bright, blooming, and bold.

I am the autumn, the winter,

slow-burning and sometimes cold.

We meet like tides, we clash, we flow.

Sometimes we run parallel,

and sometimes we glow.

We can be as one,

or we can be apart,

but forever as one,

forever in the heart.

Our language is a music that we understand.

Loving all that exists all through the land.

We will not die we will continue to grow.

For my religion is this

I know when I know.

AG.
