With Love

The best time is right now, Tomorrow existence may not exist. Certainly, I hold no certainty For anything to be certain. Plans quickly become undone Like a stick to a spider web, Like a match to a gasoline spill, Heading home if it's fate's will. But right now, right this moment, I'm alive and smiling still. Call whoever you love, Call whoever loves you, Thank God this voice can breathe, These fingers can write with speed. You don't need to guess what I'd say, I'm right here, I am a record of today, A force to reckon with Until I take that mighty last breath, My last thought running through my head, I loved this life to death. Right now, today. I woke up today So many did not wake up today. I looked up today, How lucky I am to just be.
