Angels

I close my eyes and see different skies, Glowing stars and glimmering smiles. I close my eyes and there they'll be Laughing, waving, calling to me. I close my eyes and there they are In my dreams, they come from far With soft, silk feathers of gold and white Why do they never stay for the night? Oh how I wish I was one of them, Flying away, out of sight But alas I shall be trapped In this cage without flight
