Don't Make Me

by sarah-spang

Don't make me forget you Stop trying to send me ahead. Let me stay here with you. Let me swim, let me sleep in this- Let me fill my arms with you, My lungs. Every molecule saturated In a place where you're still breathing. These are my dreams and you won't Tell me how to fill them I will decorate this place with a thousand of your smiles. Your laughter will echo down each corridor And all the places high and low will bear the evidence that I did love you and I still do. And there is nothing you can do about that. So visit me here and smile. Be with me and laugh and do not tell me to move on. Do not tell me you're gone. The day is for the living. The night is for the dead And sleep is the last place our fingers may brush. So let them.
