Trees

We are trees, growing close together, branches touching, reaching for the stars. We are trees, planted in the ground, spreading our roots, happy with 'here'. We are trees, swaying to nature's rythm, a part of the Earth, paralyzed by the thrumming of her heart. We are trees, we are plants, we are birds, we are stars, we are humans, holding hands, hugging profusely, and full to the brim with kissing. We are humans, with awkward silence, with embarassing moments, with silly jokes. We are humans, writing, reading, and writing some more. We are humans, we are us, and it is fantabulous.
