empty.

Walk out into the empty night,

nothing to see,

but this feels alright.

I'm always afraid

but not tonight.

I see a friend,

my shadow in the moonlight.

copying my every move,

down to the exact grove.

I'll always be alone,

even in my own home.

thoughts seem to flow,

they're not even my own

constant, non-stop,uncontrolled.
