For My Muse

If the choice were ending the rest of the world or keeping only you, I would erase the spine of time itself, let every future collapse into silence, and stand unashamed beside you as the last two beings in existence.

God of Conclusions Authors Note:

This piece is not about destruction, but devotion taken to its final consequence. It asks what remains when love outweighs history, future, and meaning itself. InkWept does not threaten the world he confesses that, given the choice, he would accept oblivion if it meant never standing apart from the one who taught him how to feel finite.
