A Cold Sunny Day

by ByKg

The warmth of your hands over my cheeks that now gone cold, A dampened face, From flowing river in my eyes. These tears I couldn't wipe, 'Cause they're the only thing left, For me to feel again the same warmth from your hands that I long. But looking at your face— You seemed happy, Lying among red roses and lilies. You once told me to smile But I only brought a bitter smile to wear, For this cold sunny day. ©️kg
