Rain Lily (Keats)

by @nasa-nick

I learned of beauty from a single rain drop, Their thoughts tried to chain us, But I'm too hardheaded so they just gave up. Rain lily, breathing morning dew, You too gone, so we mourning you, Hung askew, it grew my Fortitude, You lame man she wanted more than you. Aura hue on made to be great, Yeah I knew that it would happen No caption words just blur the image Really in the thick of it Darkest moment I can feel the bliss in it. My heart aches, a drowsy numbness pains, Peer through panes of painted glass, I see 3 shapes, damn I wish this high would last. Illustrations lost inside my crude translations Scribbles on my walls, I’m the fool, thinking as I fall. This my 10th notepad, I step through to upside down and roam, I'm a true nomad. In my head this life is not so bad. I drink the bubbling honey brew and I see a place outside this realm. By the creek we speak with druids, Their tears are haunting me, Their eyes were Leaking crystal fluids. My soul just lost its luster, I dreamed I was an eagle I woke up like maaan fuck this life Shades of sight, let go of me, Real life got a strangle hold on me. I wanna float away Like a white cloud caught on a windy gusts. Message sending up, I need a sign I saw 2, they both said get back up. 10 AM I been up since twilight hit my aching eyes In between the wake of tides is where I go and hide You want to see true beauty, Then just take a step outside.
