Cocktails of Life- The First Pour

In the glass

of teenage years,

a cocktail

starts to rise.

A blend of dreams

and restless thoughts

beneath

uncertain skies.

A splash of hope,

a dash of truth,

emotions

running wild.

The cocktail

of young life begins

with every

hopeful child.

Notes

The teenage years are where dreams, fears, innocence, and reality first begin to mix together. This verse reflects the beginning of life’s emotional journey and the hopes we carry into adulthood.
