In my Wild Hearted Boy´s mind,
You may come to find the dragons from time to time.
In my Wild Hearted Boy´s mind,
In the cave at night,
Sweet knight in shining armor sits around the fire with his dragon.
But Brave Hearted Boy Sam woke up the next day, ran so fast into the woods,
Looked around but saw nothing.
Wild Hearted Boy must have lost his imagination.
He once put his heart inside of a box,
A box full of magic and memories.
A knight in shining armor, the fire at night, the adventures he had,
The laughter around him,
Sat his world on fire and brought him to a place he loved.
Wild Hearted Boy,
Took his last breath in the woods they left him.
Sweet little Brave Hearted Boy Sam came around one day.
He took his matches, lit a fire,
Full of desperation took the body of Wild Hearted Boy,
Carefully placed him close to the fire,
Just where it was warm.
Sobbing in the darkness, removed his jacket and wrapped it around Wild Hearted Boy.
Wild Hearted Boy, lay still on the ground,
Close to the fire, just where it was warm,
Eyes closed and peacefully at rest.
Brave Hearted Boy Sam, tears rolling down his cheeks,
Lay behind Wild Hearted Boy,
Wrapped his arms around him and shivered in the cold.
Brave Hearted Boy, whispered the lullaby
Wild Hearted Boy taught him
“You brought my heart to a place I never knew existed,
Tomorrow awaits a new adventure,
And I´m happy to bring with me
My knight in shining armor”.
The next morning, when the fire was out,
Just where it used to be warm,
Brave and wild hearted boys lay peacefully on the ground,
Closed eyes and on their way to their own paradise.
Me being lost in my own fantasy, I wrote this.

Like a bullet in my head
OverTheMoonPoems Jan 2017
I rest my head on the pillow, one last time. Oh, the pain. I see the day come, then it runs away in fear of the dark. Leave the memories the way they are, leave them to slowly fade away. There's no time to create new ones, we'll have to live in the past. Leave me alone in the forest, with a gun in my hand. Trust me to fly away. Like roses on the bed, like a bullet in my head. Save me today, but tomorrow I'll be dead.
I hope you liked my poem!
