I've come to find that life is squished in between my laughter.
It's in a kiss.
Your lips.
I've come to find that I can live forever in a smile
As long as I want to.
Olivia Ortega Apr 2012
I have to tell you,
it's just so remarkable when you find someone genuinely like you.
I honestly think that there's about five or ten people in the world that we would match up with near perfectly.
And who knows when you're going to meet this person that just scares the hell out of you
because of how alike you are,
because of how good you could be together.

You're the wrong kinda sound for me
But listen to him.
So busy making up
Another pulled-to-pieces part
Of this tall, tall sky scraper,
Some call the world.
Olivia Ortega Jun 2010
Influences can wrap
Around my fingers.
I'll be the prettiest wall paper in the store
from all the juices of you,
that I **** up.
Olivia Ortega May 2011
I'm going to ache my way out of this bed, this town; this life.
Till I'm sinking into the change I'm meant to create.
Olivia Ortega Nov 2010
It's all a scene between cold and on fire.
Love.
Olivia Ortega Feb 2010
You scare me silly.
I'm 3 million years old, but you don't care.
I'm five to you.
A little girl.
Who's inevitably and perpetually,
Silly.
Olivia Ortega Jun 2010
You can be sun and sweat.
I'll be the frigid passenger.
For no one deserves my condescending eyes.
Olivia Ortega Jan 2010
I just write.
Little, little, down.
Just a little though.
Because that's all I'm made of.
You could be the one that writes me down.
Don't you take me down though,
I'm already so low.
Digging myself out of love.
Is hard.
Olivia Ortega Jan 2010
That's enough for now.
I'm too full from youth to speak.
A smile is all it takes here, where everything is simple.
Even the knots in my hair.
