once the small
haze lifts,
of your
blue adoring eyes,
it will all
come crumbling,
slowly
but surely
down.

once your hands
are lifted,
from the angles of my
jaw,
your fingertips to follow,
releasing my blood
flushed cheeks.

undoubtably,
it will all
come fizzling,
calmly
but absolutely
down.

once i stop
remembering,
will something
else follow?

compressed.
spiraling,
release.

uneasy-
running through.
inside,
out.

gone,
forgotten.

where did you go?
Olivia Brown Mar 2013
quietly,
her jaw rests upon his shoulder,
relaxed.
her gaze,
indescribable.
a smile seemingly real,
petite but wide.

his gaze,
beaming with pleasure,
with the feeling of euphoria.

she feels it in the center,
later.
the center burns, burns.

as if her body were a statue,
eroding,
slowly.

the surge flows,
flowers and bursts,
halted by its housing.

she feels a quick shock-
defeated.

touch.

smooth, warm, friction.

textures, roam...

away.

the place i told you about,
the place where your mind explores.
your cinematic dreams.
you and you and you.

it's a soft noise,

static, white, sweet,
innocent,
sentimental.

you go so quickly, please stay.
i wanted to-
it's another place...

i would say you are not welcome but you know it well.

words around the room, soundless dancing.

clinging through teeth,

flushed pink-

pouty.

tell me, tell me, tell me.

so embryonic, adaptable.

considerable.

undoubtedly.

grab the bones-

miniature, crisp.

marrow is so pleasing,
creamy, fluent.

to touch-

please don't.

push.

don't tell,

"do you know where..."

please don't.

you ask me to pretend.

surely, i can create worlds in my mind.

but

i can not pretend.

sadly sick,

sick,
sadly.

my reality is made up,

exaggerated by self pity.

this could be the end,

i'm surely positive.

i feel, though.

small things.

the small things

i create in my mind.

ceaseless crying.

soak the pillow...onto the bed.

tears absorbed, oil absorbed, sweat absorbed,

cigarette burns, *****, weight, arrogance,

seclusion, hesitation, longing,

itch.

one oozed with love, with purity.

snug, tender, sensible, giving.

two oozed with destruction, with vulgarity.

deep, hidden, masked, distanced, deceptive.

one gushed desperation.

he wasn't absorbed.
