I saw her again today,
but then turned and went on my way.

Her make-up, perfection on her face;
and that smile, firmly in place.

Little would they all know it was a facade;
that behind her glowing teeth was a heart un-glad.

I'm the only one aware that she suffers-
I'm the only one who sees her in mirrors.
There's only One really who knows what's going on inside...

Blaming you
is my past time;
For every mistake
and tear line.
I'm quick to forget
that i disregard your leading;
whenever i hear that still voice speaking.
I know one day,
you'll hold me accountable for all;
My every choice and action
which kept me on the floor.
I should stand for you
but i'm tired so i sit,
and when it comes to taking responsibility-
you better leave me out of it.
God has given us the ability to ChOoSe...how are you going to use it?

I  had expressed my intentions to you
with great eagerness and verve;
promising we would meet
anytime before twelve.

Before it gets any later,
before i lose another chance;
I must prove to you
that my devotion is constant.

Before my eyes get heavy
and objects begin to blur,
I ought to give account
of what i have used my time for.

You are my priority;
the one around whom my life revolves.
But my actions alone give these words meaning,
and this is why i must cease to stall.

You deserve undivided attention-
thus i now disregard all else.
My word I must indeed keep,
before the clock strikes twelve.
I have been procrastinating my quiet time for much too long...
