some people are artists

some people are art

but, my god, she is both.

Heart Lock
Jayson Apr 2016
I'm afraid of the way you can sway my emotions.

How can I build restricted area signals on my heart,
when you so easily tear down the walls against you?

I'm afraid of you.

You've entered into me without my permission.
Yet somehow, I allow you to stay.

Don't try to be accountable of me,
if you can't even be available for me.

Rebuild Me
Jayson Mar 2016
I've been sinking in turmoil.

Conducting myself in ways that aren't normal,
but I'm just reacting from my pain.

There's bleeding scars on my heart. The same scars
you said you can amend with your passionate love.

So if you hear me let me say this, Rebuild Me.

For the damaged,
For the bruised,
For the lonely,
For the tormented,
For the broken hearted,

If you can hear our plead, please..

Dry the tears.
Hold us close.
Kiss every scar.
Pick up the broken pieces.

Rebuild Me.

How Sway?
Jayson Mar 2016
It is within our own inquisitive nature
to feel the need to have an answer to every question.

Our curiosity demands it.
Our confusion is desperate for it.

The thing is we are already promised an answer.
Yet our impatience makes us complacent.

Answers don't always come on our time.

Yet a long awaited answer that hasn't be received leaves us afraid at the possibility of there being no answer at all. So we give up on waiting..

How can we hope in what we wait for?

Calming curiosity.
Controlling desperation.

Maybe you're too busy trying to find the answers,
when the answers have been trying to find you.

Be still.
Quiet your mind.
Breathe.

Posisition yourself in patience.
The answers will come.
