I look into the mirror sometimes,
Wondering about what I'd see..
I find myself looking at what I'm not,
Not what I could be.
I see those eyes stare past me,
I see them look back.
I knew right then,
Those eyes have the despair I lack.

And we'll entwine our thoughts together,
Like the stems of two double roses..
Those good memories make it even better,
Like time stood still for our picture perfect poses..
My heart beats for you
And my mind doesn't stray far.
It's just the way we should be; as two,
Just like the way I wished upon that star

I remember the fighting we had done,
The shouting that shot me like a gun.
That bullet of pain shred though my wall of defence,
Yes, you were the one charged for that offence.
Now I think about the memories we had,
And now I think fighting isn't so bad..
You weren't even real to begin with,
Now to me, you're just a fading myth..

Time cannot erase all the scars,
All the tears and our raging wars.
It's etched deep into my mind,
And when I think about it,
I think I'm better off blind.
Closed in a hollow shell of pain..
NO!! You cannot imagine how long I've lain.
Waiting for you,
Thinking of you,
"No!", I scream. This could not be true..
Oh now I understand that you're a  heartless,
Faithless mule.

I looked into your eyes and fall to my knees,
Because their colour is that of the seven seas.
But as I watched you change for the worst,
All the bubbles of my dreams and hopes had gone and burst.
