Where will you find Him?
Confined inside halls made of walls of clay and mud?
A child’s innocence?
The thousand words about the invincible
Or grandma’s stories of His compassion
In a mother caressing her child’s head with love
Or in the long –long hymns they teach you?
The painted stone with a flower at its feet
Or a true friend and the warmth he brings
Where will you find Him?
Is He hidden in the pictures you paint of him?
Or maybe in the pictures of your life
Is He somewhere close?
Or do you have to climb mountains to find Him?
Is he a story, a dream
Or a hope, as a person
But that’s not the real question is it.
What will you do when you find Him?
Maybe you don’t want to find him.
You just want a savior, a messiah
a…being, that can give you anything and everything
a power that can take away your miseries
Some-thing or someone to blame
If that’s what you want, you don’t need an eternal power
You need yourself!
If God is real, He’ ll be there for you
He is there for you, because you believe that he is
You have faith
But just because you believe that He’s real, don’t make him your punching bag
Trust yourself, have faith in yourself
And then maybe
You will find him
In me
In yourself
And then you’ll know what to do.
