Wilted Tulips
In this dark abyss, her mind is flooded with painful memories of a time where she was loved, needed, wanted. A time where her outer beauty infinite, and inner beauty immaculate; his sweet caresses on her cheek,  him worshipping her at her feet as if she were the most amazing and wonderful intriguing and mesmerizing creature he’d ever seen. He made her eyes glow like fireflies at dusk,  He made her heart flutter like a hummingbird's wings while drinking the nectar of a wild orchid. And made her blossom like a tulip in early May, he made her feel like a woman, and made the child within her disappear for a suspended moment. She thought they were perfect for each other…

However, in his mind it was a fantasy fulfilled.  She who was naive and let her guard down because he told her she was pretty and special and amazing. And told her she was perfect in every way while at the same time plucking a petal from her flower as it wilted underneath the shadow of his ego… too afraid to be what somebody else needed him to be and took only what he wanted. Leaving her with nothing but herself and the broken pieces of her heart scattered to the north wind that blows with a strong winter chill.

Glittering Gems
The yearning, the dreaming, the pain of wanting
My touch, my kiss, my warmth on your skin
My teasing had wheezing you couldn't keep up, so I slowed down
Now I am yearning, I am dreaming, I am feeling the sting of wanting

Your touch, your kiss, your warmth on my skin
The height of the passion defused by the conquered prize
Now there is no more yearning, no more dreaming, but there is pain...
Oh, there is pain, the pain of wanting you to want me the way that you used to want me.
The thrill of the chase, glittering gem on the horizon but as the horizon approaches its just rocks.

Just plain old rocks.
