She sleeps and I ponder.
A vast grave of emotions, we wonder.
Individually lost, insuperable together.
Heavy hearts, floating like a doves feather.
We do not run yet,
But we can crawl together.
For life has cursed us with knees and elbows as tough as the night is dark.
Knees and elbows as rough as bark.
We met in the midst of out woes.
In this valley at its most low.
Life left us for dead, in separate alleys.
Only time would let out alleys intersect a few blocks down the road.
Together we will kneel, then stand.
Together our hearts will beat, out lungs will breath.
Together we will step into our promise land.
We will overcome this deficit in  the comprehension of love.

Just me my noose and my whisky
Double check the noose double check it's not too lose
The room is getting misty
If All this is just God testing my faith I think it's time to loose this case. Prosecuted by a mistake produced thousands of years ago what the hell does this half to do with me for Heavens sake.
Oh, how I want to be grateful for the life I was given
It's hard to be grateful for the life I'm living.
Why is it so hard to give up something that was never mine.
I ask the sun when will it all be fine the it replies son in due time.
As I step out onto the ledge my thought changes to maybe never mind. Would hope be produced by a step forward or a step back.
The wisdoms to these questions my sober mind lacks.
These tears kidnap my vision.
These Diamonds choose not to shine. These pearls are a slave to the waves as I stare into this puddle of oil it comes to me that none of these emotions are mine.

As we exhale hopelessness
Helplessness seems to follow. Photosynthesis is to the plant as the plant is to the swallow.
Neurological misconceptions lead to fragmented perceptions.
Inhabitants dancing upon the bitter mountain side.
Swallowers of regret lungs drown with red. In our self produced misery We seem to wallow.
As the sun rises, purple & yellow shadows prance the meadows.
As the sun sets, purple & yellow shadows parade the meadows.
