Raging Fire
Navneel Lal Oct 2014
A raging fire,
the bushland's lost.
Caused by a match
Carelessly tossed.

The animal's escaped,
with lots of woes.
But later caught
and put in zoo's.

Lost their freedom
to my dismay.
The predator yesterday
is the prey today.

We put make-up
and put on shoes,
nothing to do but
laugh at their blues.

Who's to be blamed
not me,not you.
Just a burning match
can **** you too.
The first stanza is borrowed.

Dogs you call them
Navneel Lal Oct 2014
Why is it considered
An insult
Maybe because they are
Too uninformed,unaware
Of the evils we build upon.

Look at those eyes
Do they paint fear
Yes of course;
From us,certainly not to scare.

Scarred and bruised,
And deprived of love.
God may exist,
But does love?

Dunking their bodies in bins
Swishing away from traffic
Warmth is expensive
Belly is sinking.

There is an infestation,
No! Not fleas but humans.
We rob them of feelings,
****** their free spirits
And see it brightly.

The atrocities
They continue
A stone at a time
Poison to dine
Is it just fine?

Love is the answer
For it needs no language
It needs......love
Love only

Adopt a stray
And save the day
To you she may become part of your life
But for her, well it's her entire lifetime.
Was inspired after adopting a stray puppy......
