Poet Trilogy
Poet do you recall when during days long done
Once when very young
You placed my scented kerchief beside
The small cross I always carried
On the wind we heard the clank of marching men
And the Tinkling of Bells
To my touch your armor was hot
Dust rose in great clouds and could be seen for miles
Unlike others your horse, fat from spring grass
Pranced and chaffed at the bit
So eager to leave, like you my Noble One
I rose to the promise of a kiss
But her lips were assaulted by your sweat and tears
You were violent
and that kiss
broke the strings and voice of my song
Now I no longer sing
The Crusades are over the round table is empty   Women only sometimes dream of Gallant men
Weaving their fantasies through their poems and books
Funny thing though, the quest is very much alive and true
Recognized, known only to a few
And when meeting sometimes during that short passing
You can still hear Poet
The Tinkling of Bells
Enchantress speak to me and I will listen
Spin for me those golden words, so long departed, dark ages past
When truth was lost and light stopped burning
When reality was the sword and true love didn't matter
Birds were the only thing left singing and Camelot someones crazy dreaming
Stone tears, tolling of bells ringing in my ears
Left alone so many years and yet the vision
Is not lost nor the tears
What Cost?
Enchantress my heart was true what did I do?
Fingers falling on the frozen ground
His hair blood red, the face a frown, yet he's still allowed to see
He saw a door the light was shining as he sighed
As he moved alive into his dying
Deeds long spent flashed before his eyes of a lady in waiting
His lady of golden locks and of perfumed kerchief
His poet, spinner of words and song
Thoughts of two hearts beating yet as one
So far away he could not come
In a golden haze with divine grace the Goddess allows to see
To know at last a vision, no mercy, no innocent victim
A ribbon of moonlight covered the trees
He knelt by her alter
a knight on his knees
Pedals of roses crushed all around he remembers,  a promise broken
Of how he'd lost hope
A knowingness of what his life was and could have been
Again I remind you that truth had died, the Goddess she rested deep in slumber
Waiting the circle to complete
The knight knew then the Mothers name was nursed at her breast
And yet with no remorse betrayed her to follow the Quest
From his sword blood flowed in self righteous rage
And throughout all the land he cried, "the goddess is dead she died !"
Then as the vision fades with a jolt of pain so complete
He realises his true love, his  lady in waiting has died
Back on the frozen ground snow began to fall
He remembers how he'd hidden a locket deep in his pocket
Inside a trendle of golden hair plus an emrald so green
From the Isle of his dreams and the young maiden he'd left there

Still alive, alive with his dying to the goddess he screams
The locket still clenched tight in his hand
Now I know its heresy that men live only one life
One god one Christ guilt rides high a burden carried so long
Past all around, everyone can share, sin not someone else s duty to take away
Its our own responsibility, no innocence in the game we play
we write our own script
Earth a school house testing ground, We're actors in a play
Poet do you recall when during days long done
once when very young
Love is an open door listen to the whispering s of women
like we did before
The day the Goddess went to sleep all men died,
forgot how to embrace the Mother
Avalon lives I'll give you a clue there's nothing to do
,  you hold the key
It takes courage to be what you are. We've come so far, so many lifetimes
Traveling around passing each other on the wheel
Listen oh listen, can you hear the Tinkling of Bells

So my sweet Avalon
you who have the power to awaken in your dreams
Sing a new song you say
A tale not told, let the path create itself be bold
Now in this new day new age hearts are beginning to open
Twin Flames  together
Standing in their places of power
letting love in so it may flower
Following their own footsteps
not afraid of the fire
As a rule great power comes with dependence on each others fuel
Each receives a part of the other, that's
the golden rule
If you make Avalon your quest
I'll give you a clue
The magic of imagination is the surest tool
Use it wisely remember
that for every one who knocks the door will not open
Only Twin Flames hold the key
Love in it's purest form, the Token

Lotus Blossom
Lotus blossom frozen on her head
Stone tears falling from many ancient beds
Torn aparts one heart passing on the wheel
How many lifetimes have we bwnn to the other
Mother, Father, sister, brother
Choice no such thing
Given up when the fabric of their flame was sown
Magic was locked inside half her heart
The other half he owned
She is Bran the goddess half
Living blind behind the mask of his
Dark moon eyes
Heard all his lies
And tasted the ******* with bliss of his first wal
As he began to hide himself from others before the fall
Descent
Oh yes she rejoiced a jealous goddess
He belonged bonded by fire only to her
What right did those others have
To taste that first kiss
And to touch with fingers belonging only to her
Humans on earth
Wrapping them so entirely within his wings
Dark secrecy, lust, many other things
So in a rage of passion
She tore the very things that allowed flight
From her back
Oh yes blood flowed red
Descent
Giving up all past memory of true bliss
Every memory of his face, his kiss, his heart
Her dark twin flame forgotten
Nor a backward glance was given
Fallen to earth indulging the passion
Meet and separate time and time again
The wheel rolls on
Blind to the other
The wheel rolls on
So as ages pass some ligering of him
Stored somewhere in her head
Just a vague memory
Would call to her for one brief moment
Bliss remembered
Stolen between the twilight of sleep
And the ending of dreamtime
Great bells ringing, tolling bells singing
Come to me
Hearts beating sirens calling
Come to me
In tunnels of time, in caverns of rhyme
Behind dark moon eyes
Traces of him come calling
Remember
Come to me my torn apart
Dragons tail crosses the sky
Dreaming is ended fall no more
Our flame burns on
Come find me if you will
come find me
You will
The Fall
The story of my fall from the heavenly worlds; of my need to have worldly experiences and of her response; that of following me and forgetting each other, then the inevitable calling out and return. I chose the title "Descent" for its dual meaning; that of "falling" (from the heavenly worlds) and that of being related to each other down through the ages. And finally because of the concept of Duality (the Dreamer Dreaming the Dreamer).

Enchantress
Call to me Enchantress, Awaken!
How long must you sleep undisturbed?
What  forms will you gather in the midst of my dreaming?
Come to me
Lucid waking life I watch for you
On walks behind each bush, each tree through crowded room
At times our eyes touch, electricity courses from my stomach leaving through my mouth in small gasps
But the facade breaks, you flee
I search you out and only during nights breath
I run pursued by your many forms and faces... Ha!
One nights day I may surprise myself
Turning to face my pursuer
You!
Please come to me, show your true self, lead the way
I saw your face in the mirror night last, vague and unpretty
That time in the ice and snow was that your best?
Remember!
I followed your tracks
You turned gazing at me with yellow eyes before bounding off
Bending down, my hand inside the print of your paw seemed small
A drop of blood red on a crust of ice suddenly convinced me of the reality
Of that moment
Tremendously excited throwing my thoughts to you
I call come back...
Stoic, still, yet razor sharp
Only the green haze from the forest remained
Another time I will follow
But in in my excitement I lost hold on my dreaming
Remember

Raven
difference between lucid and regular dreams and referring to her "muse" as the Enchantress, I was inspired to compose this.

Love Song
Love Song

Don't you know
I love you more than I can say
Or put in words forbidden, its more involved each day
Since my feelings are no longer hidden
How do I make the conection, to tell this girl
Her sweet perfection, of the youthful face I see
The exurberance of life I love
Suddenly my prison walls have crumbled
The heavens moan, the mountains rumbled
My universe has never been for such a long time
So stable
And I wonder the next tale of this golden fable
Old memories long forgotten
My emotions so strong to fight
My minds whirling with wrong or right
Suddenly my universe is swirling
Vision is distorted by my human rain
My heart is thumping my heads whirling
Again I'm vulnerable to your pain
Oh bonnie lass with eyes so deep
Whom I run naked with in my sleep
Can your eyes measure the torment
Through which I've been
In this thousand years since you took me in
Twin flame I am, brown eyes and long dark hair
Loving a grey haired Enchantress
With skin so fair
With Warmth and compassion so rarely found
A beauty and gentleness that
Outshines all those around
Eons will pass by, lives flicker and then die
And for every soul that can't find love
Lonely wind will carry their sighs
And tears will fall as rain from high above
Loving you has been and is to me
The peak of the mountain, the top of the tree
And that we loved at all will only be in the knowing
Gone but not forgotten in the going

Past life
Time is filled with false promise
Pain does not erase forever
The sweet momory of a face
Interwoven lives in golden haze
Amongst memories of dead tomorrows
Lined up alongside shimmering woods barefoot with grass
Ghost like ribbons of unproven tomorrows
Floating images spent on quiet ponds
Periscope eyes yielding dippers, into dreamtimes of effortless passion
Vast vaults of time smooth with summertime sleep
This is what I see as I look deep
Long slender fingers pressing down
Keys black and white
Lifetimes spent... Sacred Sound
Notes carved from your heart sent heaven bound
You lived four score and ten
You name unwhispered in other hearts
Nor was there one who greeted you at your door
You called out, cried out long into the nights
This lifetime spent alone and lame
No fame or recognition
But poverty and hunger were your daily bread
A single cover for your bed, not even a pillow for your head
Ink a few sheets of paper, candles some wine
You spent your all, to own a mistress, of wood and bone
The candle you burnt was at both ends
Without regret your heart was given in its purest form
Bliss is what you mastered wth your art you used the pain of us apart
So full and open was your heart that your music did not dim with age
I called for you one whole month and then another
Come to me come to me softly I whispered
Come rest you've done your best
Time to come home my Darkling
It is the end... this script... this test
Lay your head upon her ivory skin
Kiss her fare thee well
I promise you shall meet again. Come rest, the best is yet to be
You rose up from four score and twenty. Your room alive with warmth and golden light
Covered in Blue Stars you took my hand, a very bright light was burning
You grinned, you saw a youth
A boy of twenty in your skin

Twilight of December
It's the twilight of December
early dark
And the Mother Goddess

In her slumber sleeps
and dreams,
Like the fog
she moves stealthy
on tip toe
Across the sky
The Moon
like a swollen belly
drifting silent and alone
in frozen space
smiles
in her watchfulness
of Earth Mother
and laughs
a Crones laugh
