I still hear the cars
inches from your body

Your arms wave wildly
  the international sign for help

i can still feel the air rush
  out of the world

it pulls at me from the passenger side
as you left.

I remember talking to you in jail
through a cinder wall

You sounded scared.

I had been arrested
for worse things

You made bail first.

I remember saying goodbye.
You said something romantic

“You will be back”

or

something more down to earth.

I remember you being the only girl
why did they arrest you?

Why did they arrest any of us

who cares

memories are what makes the drunken
drunked dranked periods fun.

I want to be your time bomb
randomly I tick away
not to the second of a clock
more like a jazz drummer
toying with the audience
feel the crowd as it almost explodes
then bring it back down
and start working the fuse again.
sparks here and there until
the moment is right and i explode all over you.
Go ahead and write something.  Don't be shy I can take it
