The sky turned silver this year
A lone proof of existence
A life worth remembering
A day that changes everything
It's like a paper thin balance
of dreams and of past
how long will it last?
A long journey to the peak
but what's there that we seek?
Mornings are great, they say,
All that's left is to pray

As the events unfold
I'll sit quietly and look up,
hold an imaginary candle and blow it up
and hum my self an awfully familiar tune..

A familiar day has started
on my way to school
I can't help but wonder
some people on the streets
are walking backwards.
Confused and baffled
I asked someone " hey wait, are you going somewhere?"
The man looked at me it seems that he's in a hurry
He answered me impatiently
"I'm quite busy, can't you see!?"
so I just nod my head and turned away
I thought maybe this day has a lot to offer.
The bell rang, the time has come
the teacher entered the room
slowly she walked, without a glance she talked
"open your books, the class will begin."
with an absent mind gesture
she flipped the pages of her book
too fast to read, to fast to look
one student asked; "teacher, is there something wrong?"
she replied with a tear in her eyes,
"I wish I could flip the pages of my life to who I was before"
quite moved I agreed and stood up from my chair
"I'll be going now, no need to wait for the bell"
with a smile I started to walk ,
I walked backwards, the whole class was in shock
out of the doorway, away and away
I was right, this day has a lot more to offer..

I was sitting on a bench
while looking up above the clouds
the park is busy
but it's not crowded.
An archer suddenly appeared
out of nowhere, he walked
while talking to himself
saying words no one could understand.
I was confused more than I was shocked
then a boy came rushing towards him
and apparently he asked
"mister, why did you block your own shot?"
the archer looked at him
and for a minute he grinned
he answered; "you're just a boy"
for a while I thought and gave up with a sigh
my summer is fun..
my summer is gone..

A day means a lot,
A smile means so much,
The look in your eyes
that warms my heart
sunshine deep inside..

As I sat and stare
the events unfold
with a glare so cold
as it's meaningless
to give reasons as to why
this suffering is so sudden
with the way you look at my eyes
and with a glimpse

each point is obvious
every minute worth seeing

all the details I remember

Cunning, the way he kissed your cheeks
Afraid, the way when our eyes met
and I assumed that it was too late

and it felt so wrong to feel this way
coz' I'm so right that I will lose
in this game in which
we never played all along
and the guilt it brought
just to think that it would be best
not to try and cross that line
just because it feel so cool
in a way we can't explain
and regret the days I spent
just to see the scene
I'am witnessing now
