Soaring above the misty clouds
I spread my wings
Home is a little far, yet so near to my heart
Carefree and excited, my memories they fly
Boundless and unabashed
To ones I love and would no longer be apart

Riding on the gentle breeze
The clothes dance, all hems n crease
Dark clouds in the distance
Brings a smile to tired faces
Children shriek with evident glee
How I wish I was the rain
Clear, soothing and free

Driving through the slanted rain
Through the incessant pitter patter of the raindrops
Memories come flooding by
Of good times, the fun we had.
The mind races through them,jumps and gallops
The crazy makes me chuckle
The beauty makes me sad
Walking down the long past lanes
I reminisce how the time has flown by
A blissful solitude, amidst the falling sky
I feel at peace, calm and serene
A silent wish, we shouldn't be apart.
