from the fear
that you sleep with at night
awake your eternal being
clothed in this temporary flesh
and remember that after you die,
you will always find your loved ones
on the other side
of time and space
where over there,
you won't know them
by the appearance
of their face,
the color of their skin
nor flesh or bone
but by spirit,
with soul and all
it will be a beautiful sight
and you my dear
*would be the first one I recognize

You
The sensual smell of your skin
Spinning endlessly blow into the wind
Hear your heartbeat when I'm feeling down
Earning your smile every time I am around
Withered and worn so curious  why your not adored
With my love your hope in life can restored
Together I know we can struggle to battle any storm
With the world reborn, love will never be lukewarm

Lost in the hardship of my own heart
Felling torn to pieces and ripped apart
Who knew my journey would have been this hard
Feeling lost staring at the moon in the dark
I thought forever meant that we would be with the stars
Not wondering if someone could just steal you from my arms

You can measure every word I say
Never feel medium and in the way
I can be the light that brightens your rain
Always awake and so very aware of the pain
With the sound of your soul illuminating the shade
I might crumble and fall to the ground to fade
With every step I take the shackles fall off my stained brain
Perplexed and bewildered knowing that through my scars my love won't faint
