Melt me like snow on thy peak
Let me wither like an autumn leaf
Can't hear your silence speak
I am my biggest thief

I looked here and there
All of them were searching too
Alas, you were so near
I just kept looking through

Sunrise dawned late on me
I kept groping in the dark
Looking for he or she
I was way off the mark

Did you hear that voice too?
Open your heart said he
Looking around for your shoe
When wearing it you did be

I reached, my eyes shut
I felt my arrival
Many a wasted breath, but
Full of joy to ring the bell...

I once met an Englishman
I liked calling him Sir
for he was no ordinary Englishman
His name was Meta Phor

He loved his darling wife
though she dressed a bit silly
together they enjoyed their life
He and his Similie

In time they had a baby girl
naming her, got into a twirl
Ouch! Omanatopoeia was her name
Oh, what a shame, what a shame

Going to school it would pain
being called that , time n again
I wish she chooses a name anew
hope her parents she doesn't sue...

I had sent a smile your way,
Maybe it bumped into someone,
Can I just be me?
Only answer if it is a yes

They say flowers have a motive,
Bees and honey is an accident,
Mountain peaks and ***** flows,
Nature nurtures unconsciously

I don't trust my god
I can see part of me in him
Looking for an upgrade
My smile lost its way...

Nothing is for me to keep
Why do I then weep?
Confusing wants with needs
and intentions with deeds
Can it somehow make sense?
Today, tomorrow or hence...

I woke up early
Silence was there
It had been a long time
since we had last met
The light arrived slowly
as if not sure
she should be here
As I looked up
I could see her
sing and dance
the melody of life
just for me
just for me…

One day,
you will stop calling them,
words
for they are
babies
we give birth to
Our babies,
we let go
who
travel far and wide
reaching distant minds
to live a life
of their Own..
