The moon is out so bright tonight,

so beautiful but yet so dangerous.

Bringing back sad memories of tears and silent screams,

of a sobbing rocking back and forth girl,

Looking out the window

trying to soothe her aching,

torn apart,

lonely heart.

weather,

Don't believe them when they say

I'm sick of staying up late at night

wanting and praying for you to just treat me right

You used to,

and that is all that matters to me

because at least I'm somewhat content,

with my memories.

They look at me and say,

“God, do you know how lucky you are?”

I look and them and say,

“If you were me, you wouldn't get very far.”

And people seem to love the seasons;
winter and fall.
But they don't know..
That from these times,
I have some of the worst
and some of the best
memories of all.

Don't give up they told her.
Stay strong.
Hold on.
It gets better in the end.
Well, what if shes been strong too long
and the only last option in her dark mind,
is giving up?

When you see me smile,
it's because someone,
which is you,
finally makes me happy enough to have a genuine smile on my face.

When you hear or make me laugh, through my laughter I'm saying “Please don't go.”

When we hug,
I hope you can feel my love transferring to you
I hope you know that when I hold you,
I could hold you in my arms forever, and that I literally have to force myself to let go.

And that when you hear me tell you,
“I love you”,
That is the most honest thing,
I have ever said.
