On a whim
We climbed in a car
That was headed down South

You were older
And I was hard-pressed for action
Could you tell?

You said "Here, my dear"
At the vanity fair
"Let's make hay while the Sun shines!"
But was it fair?

Old playthings are all laid to waste
Thrown out to make better space

So I got a job
Cleaning toilets
At a nightclub in Baltimore

And I guess that's that
Almost shorter than a dream
And definitely of less noise

Old playthings are all laid to waste
Thrown out to make better space

Do I Do?

VEST
Made a vest today

Tomorrow, I made it yesterday

No hair on my chest this may
TIRED

Getting a Ride
The clothes are packed
Dry food, dog food
Sleeping bag
Backpack

Engaging in conversation
Strangers are interesting
For being a stranger
I'm getting a ride from the station

We talk for hours on the way
Loving songs being played
Falling asleep from a trusty gut
Rising from the tired, ***** rut
She gives me a soap bar
To wash my hairy ****

Now I bid farewell, to you ol' gal
For dealing with the dog hair
And the Musky old smell
I went through hell
To get this coat from goodwill

Dark Lips Bang
Saw your picture for the first time
Bangs, as short as your shirt and skirt
Lips, darker than space
You're the most ******
The most beautiful
Grotesque
You **** on beds of skulls
Make me run home screaming
Cat scratch fever
Gifts show my gratitude for the attention
Back to you
Skin, like clouds
The darkest layers to bring it out
In my head, beating the drums in the shower
Water running down face
When we aren't together
Making the water hotter than usual

That Time Again
Well I woke up again on the floor today, Not uncomfortable, but a little more sore than usual.
My left shoulder was aching in pain, My grandmother has Trigger Finger, so I focused my attention towards helping her.
I found a neighbor who had an aloe plant he freshly cut. Lectured a little bit about it, and cut the cactus open. Spreading the gel like plant guts on her fingers. Feeling her pain. Knowing the way of my intuition and methods.
It's so hard to tell everyone how much I love them
Do you know how badly you deserve credit
You deserve even, amounts of love
From tons of other humans
Do you know that I love you?
You should know, I truly think I do
Just love, but I would fall for you
Fall down on the ground from a punch
Or a train coming at you
We could both float if we die
But I died trying, and saving someone
Just as important to me
You died in the midst of a crazy thought
It's all okay now, 27 years haunting
This addition can haunt me for as long as I
Energy.
Remember when it was easy
To try not to get caught
Never thinking of the consequences
Trading cigarettes for a 75 cents at school
Testing the hussle, that frown you hear about
Ditch class and smoke ****
Forget about the rules
Go lay under the stars

You're Walking Safe
So now you kicked me down
Threw me into the pile of old shoes
Old shoes being tossed around in bins
Tearing the flesh from my bones
Watching the vultures fly from sight

Now you're walking safe
Safe and sound from true love
Cradled in the arms of a different man
Love is lost after all
She calls him Sergeant in bed too, I bet on it

Here she goes, inviting me over to drink with MY FRIENDS
This odor of ***** and *** when I enter
Bad, Bad, Bad idea, Bad idea
You're walking safe
To a different car, to go to a show
Some band you just overrated

While you were gone, My bones
Pressed against metal and cheap plastic
I unleashed my anger with a single strike
A tequila bottle dangling in my left hand
You're Walking safely to your future
While I endanger myself, put forth unto nature
She is my muse, adding to the fire
Don't worry, I'm walking safe
On a hot rock
Ticking of the clock
No motivation
Lazy aspiration
Active hesitation

The blood is on the surface
Face is feeling hot
Forgetful of the purpose
That's the reason that you're lost
Remember who you are
A spirit in the making
Open up your mind
To the world you're forsaking
I was short and brief with first half, and a little more complex with the other half to exaggerate the flow of it

All tangled on top
Thanks a lot to the knots, It's all tangled on top
One blanket, holes in my clothes
People assume I stink, or do drugs on spot

But little do they remember, they got a son
Wrapped up in ****** and crack for fun
I've never done it but get judged by them
You call me scrubby or nasty, when I'm in the town
Whisper to yourself, just keep looking down

If you only took a second, to hear the soft voice
Of a loving, kind character
Who lives this life by choice

Not begging for a living
Just living and forgiving
The choices people make these days
When threatened and afraid

— The End —
