Balance
I am the words at the back of your head
The nightmares you keep under the bed
The darkness that looms overhead
Steadily corrupting everything in it's stead

You are the sky azure and pure
Full of light and wonder a cure
Life irradiates off of you
Innocent and sure

Balance strikes and we are one
We are everything under the sun,
The moon, the stars, and man
But somehow i, the darkness just leaves, takes off , i just ran.

Leaving the light. Once innocent, once pure
To be corrupted by hate and sadness
And the shadows we once cast to be nothing once more

Rain
The sound of the rain
Numbs the pain
Drowns away the voices in my head
It's just the rain instead
I don't shed
A tear anymore
The skies cry
In my stead
This is what it's like inside
It's all around for everyone to see
The physical manifestation of my melancholy
Everything's grey
it's better this way
But then it fades
It turns into a drizzle
The skies part
They're no longer stark
The sun shines through
And i am left behind again
With the voice in my head thinking of you.

butterflies
Time pulsates as i breathe
Reality is what i choose to believe
Stomach churning
Butterflies whirling
You grace me with your prescence
Everything else is so mundane
Except you, such a wonderful sight
You dazzle like the rain
Dance like the northern lights
Shine like the moon on a clear night
And yet i can't hold you
Not even with all my might
You are like a museum piece
A sight to behold
Cannot be touched, cannot be sold
There is nothing to do
But appreciate what i can't hold
