Our Lovers Game
MaryJane Mar 2013
I am just a piece
A piece in your childish games
Another toy in a lover's game
Your joy, the harvest of my pain
Show me a way out of this hole
Bring me back to the light
Replenish my soul
Give me that of which i crave
A satisfaction only you can restore
Bring me out of this grave
Show me i can be again
That i can just be
And that we can be you and me
Just like we were suppose to be
Change the look on my face
Change the fear of your embrace
Caress me against you
Warm and safe
Show me the man i use to know.
Or i'm gone
And were no more.

A changed mind
MaryJane Feb 2013
I had a murderous goal
only to become the reject
My lover arrived to stay by my side
and
he put a lunchbox full of jelly beans in my lap.

Surprise
MaryJane Feb 2013
To awake you in your sleep,
shake the covers from your bed.
all energy a simple memory
no more awareness of your soroundings
strait from the horror storys you've heard
your curse now your blessing.
Your body now with baby.

The Teacher
MaryJane Feb 2013
The eyes of a teacher
Content with who she is
Her life not a chore
nor her burden.
A passion in seeing pupils grow,
take me to this place of contentment
to her soul, let me learn her song.
A gift more precious than the ground beneath our feet.
Even the infinite galaxy cannot compare
compare to the beauty of this connection
between family and contention
Inspire me teacher of words and song
Inspire me friend of hope.

intoxication
MaryJane Feb 2013
Being Drunk
Being intoxicated
A new perspective
A new understanding
You see things so differently
So profoundly
When you see the light
A new perspective arises
I see the loneliness in mysterious eyes
A lover of her purpose
To expose those to a better understanding
An amazing joyousness
I have become the pupil of alchohol
A completely different knowledge
The vibrance of all things,
The voice of each person,
A song in my left eardrum
Thoughts of others
Such an understatement of my experience
Swallow the art
Consume the knowledge
Let it pass deep into your soul
Continue to be who you are,
Complete your words,
But to understand?
A gift rapped in time.
This art taken as a substance
Where you speak,
You hear your thoughts
Insane you may call me
But I call it,
Me my thoughts,
Beautiful.
My thoughts secluded like all others
So as im told with his song he shares
Unmonotone letting me feel his thoughts
Held by my mind,
A gift.
The philosopher.

don't make me remember
MaryJane Jan 2013
i dont want to have to remember
the love i could sometimes only see in your eyes
i don't want to have to remember
your soft sweet hands,
the shape of your fingers,
the lines in your palms,
your finger prints
i dont want to have to remember
how your fingertips felt on my lips,
how fast your heart beats after we grasp eachother
like we may have to remember eachother one day,
squeezing eachothers body's,
lips pressed together so hard our teeth scrape.
i don't want to have to remember
pure skin on skin
that ****** moment
my puzzle piece
how we fit perfectly
without a care in the world
i don't want to have to remember
my name flowing out of your mouth
a sweet song of your love to me
one single word long
i don't want to have to remember
sweet "i love you's" and "you'll never lose me's"
searching your eyes for any feelings
in your once black, dieing, soul
don't make me remember
who we are.

Remind me
MaryJane Dec 2012
You smell like the first raindrops that hit the ground since summer,
like the pages in a new book,
like the first bloom on my lilacs.
You remind me of home.
You taste like homemade apple cider in 1st grade,
like the salty ocean air i've missed,
like warm cocoa in the pouring rain.
You remind me of comfort.
You sound like hummingbird wings,
like the wind rustling through the trees,
like rain on the windshield of our red car.
You remind me of me.

Bullet
MaryJane Dec 2012
To think in just a moments time
A life so sacred won't be mine
Just one small bullet to be the cause
To take away all there joy and flaws
Each moment a gift in the hands of time
To thank for what is mine
Each little gesture
Each simple word
Don't take a life so pure
To think of all the things I've heard
Some memories of mine are slurred
Grasping each second of time
I'll never let go of mine
Just one small bullet to be the cause
Cherish each word, each moment, each flaw.

Puzzle Piece
MaryJane Dec 2012
I'm in love with your Anatomy

How our bodies fit together

Our own symmetry

Puzzle Piece.

Why?

I've asked myself

But why would I love you?

When i look into your eyes

Into your soul, it's what I see

And I see me, I'm in your eyes, your soul

Because you've allowed me in

Into your soul, your life

I'm a piece of you

And you of me

A Puzzle Piece.

Your eyes

Bright baby blue

You look at me, into me

They become brighter, Relaxed

The gaze of the sun beating down on the creek

Another day at the river, rocks, sand, you, and me

I'm taken away, put in a trance, impossible to look away

Your gaze, unbreakable, I'm glued to you.

Between me and you

A negative barrier

Puzzle Piece

Skin on skin

Face on your chest

Buried in your warmth

A steady heartbeat, your rhythm

My lullaby.

Take me

Never let go of me

Don't take away my last puzzle piece

Or i'll be another unsolvable Puzzle.
