There is a fire in my heart that you can’t
Put out because I am indestructible
You can not tell me that I am not as
The pull of gravity, I am all that
I have always dreamed of becoming and
I am strong strong stronger than all my
Demons including you, I do not need
You like I need oxygen to fill my lungs
I am a flower that grows in the dark
You are the sun that burns brighter than needed

Sunlight creeps in between the curtains
The world outside is burning with fire
I’m terrified, all the while, I’m certain
That the need for happiness is dire
What if I get what I’ve always wanted?
What if it’s not what I thought it was?
The thought of it leaves me feeling haunted
Happiness is the only hope for us
Sunlight creeps in between the curtains
The world outside is burning with fire
My sadness is like a beast of burden
It weighs me down and makes me tired
Happiness will have to wait again
Happiness was never part of the plan

Don’t fall in love
I did it once
It’s not something I’m proud of

Don’t make promises you can’t keep
I did it once
They haunt me in my sleep

Don’t give your all
I did it once
He made me bawl

Don’t fall in love
I did it once

Once
Then never again

The world is small
People are small
Hearts are small

Lives

Minds

Small

“Possibilities are endless”
They said

Crazy how so much is
Possible
In a world so
Small

What happens when the
World runs out?

— The End —
