He knew i was sad.
He could see and feel my pain -
A true blood.
Never felt before, connected,
In us, is that wrong.
His arms held my body,
And although i was more,
More of age. I felt safe.
Happy to have him,
My brother. My blood
Instantly I saw her, she caught my eye,
Pulling up to the platform.
I'd missed her, But nothing changed,
Except,
A different look, I felt more respected.
At level, not intimidated anymore.
I felt strong,
Oh was I wrong.
I wanted new reforming, getting to know one another once more,
Laughing, caring.
So special that moment. That time.
Treasured forever,
When first came to level.
A stepping stone I seemed to be,
From gold to grey so instantly.
Passion and loyalties were dedicated,
Dreams and ideas we created.

With no form of anticipation,
A smash of all were for the taking.
My mind plays tricks on yesterday,
For what i should have or shouldn't say.

I don't believe to have been of fault,
But purely just a deep firm bolt.
In that bridge that together we formed,
Single handedly was transformed.

Crashed down into the water below,
All that left, the little stepping stone.

Intriguing.
Who is she?
Do i have to feel.
I care,                             for?
I care for hearts.
The beat.

Tell me the story behind it.
Speak.
Shout.
Sing it.

People.
The mind is a,                    Firework.
Sparking connection,
Interested -

I am alone to enjoy, others are not.
Sometimes mistaken,
Through the unknown,
The interests,                                  What are they?
Does it have to be written,
Just seem to agree.
Im there. Where that be.

A girl through the disguise,
She's not hidden to me.
Deeper the world becomes,
Inside is a new story,
Which will reveal,                                                     Hiding.

But there's no monster.
I see it, intrigued.
The frozen lake,
The broken heart.

Stamped on to shatter,
The dreams of reality.

*Who knows where the footprint will lie,
Sinking down past the refection of the sky.
The last ray of sunlight beaming through,
Like an angel, Watching down on you.*

As inhaled,
Lungs freeze.
Just like that,
We shut off.
                                              **We feel reality.
23rd January.
Today’s your birthday -

Twenty years of Tay,
You started off so far away,
In South Africa your life was formed,
And now it’s been completely transformed.

I’m thinking of you ten years ago,
Moving away from your place called home,
Feeling how scared you must have felt,
But sure, look at the hand you've been dealt...

You've traveled the world with your eyes open wide,
Which I’m so happy to have been by your side,
Twenty years old now no longer a teen,
What a beautiful woman nothing less than a queen.

Away you go again for your next exciting step,
Responsibilities, a house, oh and maybe some debt ,
You’ll have the best time I know it’s for sure,
And if you ever need me I’ll be at your door.

Never forget the memories you hold,
Because they are the things that make us happy and bold,
Have strength to endure whatever life throws,
You’re destined for great things wherever it goes,

Take today to celebrate growing wise,
With cake, presents, laughter and surprise,
Close your eyes for your birthday wish,
And I’ll be sending you a birthday kiss.
