How blue the sky
When seen by me
I see as blue
As blue could be
How blue the sky
That I can see
You see the sky
But not as me
A bluer sky
You'll never see
As this blue sky
It could not be
You see blue too
But I pity thee
As blue as mine
It could not be
I see a blue
So true and free
It's in the sky
As seen by me

How can I write poetry
When the words I feel wont come to me?

I shed a tear, I cannot sleep
A young dreamer's heart is buried deep

When I try to write it down
I speak the lines and hate the sound

Not hate- despise? or feel at loss?
A mind at ease is a thinker's cost

Oh the fates!
What luck I should have
to awake from slumber so near an angel.
His kisses on my shoulder so soft
yet his lips reaching to my heart
plucking tender strings to bring music to my life
Oh fate,
Oh beautiful fortune.

I just want to freefall
Let my heart slip away from me
I think that letting feelings go
Could maybe be the key

I just want to freefall
Have the burdens go away
And slip from cloud to blinding cloud
And have a peaceful day

I think if I could freefall
That feeling could set me free
Then the real me- my heart and soul-
Is all that you would see

How could I my love express
or capture all the tenderness?
My lips do feel against your own
Ink and paper, away be thrown!
Kisses are the perfect word,
they find the rhyme but need not be heard.
Speaking purely of my heart.
Singing sweetly, works of art.

Oh my boy I though I loved
The thought of you does linger
So distinct and yet as faint
As the fair line on my finger
Protected by the burning sun
By the promise of your heart
Never thinking it would see the day
That we would grow apart
There did sit that ring of yours
The same spot every day
Until you left me for the coast
The sea took you away
To leave me here
-but where is here?
For I am nowhere without you near
And so I sit, I sit and wait
For the time to come
That you may remember me and maybe come back home
But now that band remains to me
An unforgiving token
Of a promise that was made of us
A promise that was broken.

Just as the embers reach toward the moon, climbing through the night sky and disappearing among the stars; so red-orange maids are among white diamond dames.  Neither shall reach the moon, for in his light theirs shall wane.  But 'tis only the stars that shall remain at peace in the sky: not moving nor falling.

Cry a little
Lie a little
We all have to die a little
Maybe I can buy I little time

Make the music loud
The air around you pound
Find yourself a little rhythm
Make yourself a little rhyme

Because what it all comes down to
Is just a little time.

If I have to tell a lie
to turn a head or catch an eye
I just remember all it is
is suicide.

Imitation can't endure
for losing myself there is no cure.
By the rules of others I am sure
I can't abide.

Just three houses down,
an eternity away.
You wake up feeling Love's sweet bliss.
Today is your last day.

Just a little down the road,
a light-year at the least.
My stomach's leaping out my chest,
my brain turned into beast.

Just two people down.
Two hearts, how can this be?
For them to sleep, I pray for a plan
bigger than you and me.

Where are my words?
Should my poems be taken from me?
They are my heart, my face, my name.
I say I write poems,
but they are but words;
ink and paper and rarely rhyme.
Words of love and power,
joy and sadness,
words of courage and war,
of wisdom and of life-
but mostly of love,
and so mostly of sadness it seems.
