Overwhelmed
Marcus Harris Aug 2014
Two heavy brudens
No wagon to carry my weight in
Sometimes I wish I could fly like birds in the sky
spread my big beautiful wings and  cling to God breath which is what we call air but lately Ive been so hungry
I guess i cant fill this emptiness inside me.
I know pain must exist to understand relief but my unbelief  in Gods promises.
makes me wonder if Gods mad at me
or if I graduate from a sinner to a saint.
if I grabbed the right picture for the frame thats holding my life together
yes I know storms will come and tornadoes will blow strongs winds
hurricanes rushing waters leaving everyone holding canes
terrifying pain losing everything
now whats left gaining when the only thing you wanted was a life

love has found a mate
Marcus Harris Aug 2014
Beneath my feet
Lys green grass
A ball approaching from a distance
hesitating, thinking should I catch or ignore it but I think fast and react
just before it passes my vision
I look up and there lyes  a child smiling with joy
Her mother following closly behind like a fumble at a football game
She smiles  and thanks me for my unheroic deed
As she walks away my heart beggs me to ask her stay
So I reacted quickly "saying" please mistress would please join me on my lonly read in the park
She answers well I would hate to intrude but I will if you insist
She sits closely enough to where her hair brushes my face
The suns beautiful rays of sunshine brings out her beautiful eyes
Dark and brown where the color of her eyes
Her skin so soft like sleeping on air suspended by nothing but love........

Procted Love
Marcus Harris Aug 2014
My heart pumps like in over flowing river
My palms are sweaty , hearts racing
As I gaze at a woman who's small in figure but mighty in heart
A woman who's smile brightens the darkest caves
A woman so beautiful not even the sun in the sky could dem her shine
A woman so beautiful not even hatred it self could keep a frown once it caught a glimse of her presence
Her eyes sparkle like glitter
like roses in the medows, she's sweet and delicate
attracting men's attention like magnets
Men always buzzing around like flys but only to be pushed away like revolving doors because her heart has already been captured and hidden for safe keeping
To protect her from the creeping lions that rome at night looking to devour a poor defensive fawn out on its on
