Just One Call Away
Magesh Leo May 2017
They talked for hours, as all the seasons changed
But all that she asked was some time to forgot
Voice so kind but feelings estranged
Roughly replaced by something she's not

Although he could feel her discontent
Something spoke so gently and true
And nearly he made it, without her consent
To do something he’d ever do

But he turned 'round and closed his eyes
So that this memory would crumble and fade
Still, the lost words broke his disguise
And all the tears came out of the shade

Nevertheless he did nothing, just sat there and stared
Lost in a circle he made to control
And yet she knew that he actually cared
But he has been too afraid to let it fall

They talked for hours, as the time stood still
And all he could hear from her now was just okay
He couldn't understand or he didn't feel
No matter what happens, he's just one call away to save her day.
