flaming weapon of beauty / forceful & diligent
using might with courteous caution
while wars are won with words
like honey falling from the lips of
wisdom herself.

however being left unbridled, destroying slowly
like mountains eroding
the very foundations of
our souls. words with hurriedness & harshness

crumbling relationships; shattering like glass
the shards cutting deeper still
into the ****** wounds where words made their mark.
blessings & curses. both from the same lips.
this is our sinful tragedy.
“We use our tongues to praise our Lord and Father, but then we curse people who were created in God’s likeness. These praises and curses come from the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, this should not happen. Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs?
