Demon
Madeleine Comas Mar 2017
As I lay in the darkness of my room,
Trying to fall asleep
All you hear is me weep,
With painful thoughts through my head
I lay there with my head buried into my bed.
As the demon speaks
My crumbling soul leaks.

Nights go by
As I stay awake and cry.
The nights get worse
I sit there wonder why I'm still here,
This demon have put this unattainable fear.

I sit in class staring off
The demons made me lost.
As I sit there I hear
My classmates talking of their demons,
They don't know that they’re even there.
Some get drunk, some get high,
To get rid of the demons inside

My demon is different,
As it will hold my hand,
How it will call me the most grand,
It will kiss me goodnight,
But then go out of sight.
As my demon will lie,
As he waits for his possession to die.
