The destruction and the rage.
Creatures rush out of the forest,
homes being obliterated.
What was once peaceful and serene,
now blazing and murderous.
Pain and sadness fill the air,
as beautiful life's Are lost.
The forest fire with all it's furry,
ceases to stop.
And never stops until it has killed all.

Sadness is the girl with no one to wipe away her tears,
the dog with no best friend.
Sadness is the cat with no purr,
and the child with no home.

Sadness is the fire with no flame,
the trees with no leaves.
Sadness is the ice with no cold
and the rose with no petals.

Sadness is loss.
But sadness is learning to deal with the loss.

The darkness rolls in.
Night has come, carrying clouds.
The moon comes near. Night.

Dear friend,
These small moments we share,
feel like a lifetime.

I cannot have mashed potatoes without my gravy,
Peanut butter without my jelly
And my night sky without my stars.

Thank you,
For being my friend.

Rolling for miles,
wide, from forest to forest.
The hills, the beauty.
