Lifeless.
A pretty face
Overtaken
By blue lips
Eyes
Clear as
The water she lie in
Now darker
Than the soul
That had now escaped
From her beautiful
Lifeless body

Grasping for words
To explain
speaking
the only thing
Making sense
Are your lips
Yet even those
Are putting out
Words
That become
As empty
As the air
Between
The space
In your eyes

Thriving off of flesh, not human
But the flesh of being known
Striving for perfection
Leaving the good behind
Throwing it all away,
All for a spotlight
In which
One can be in for the time
But of course as time goes on
So do we
You will never
Be known

Using
What should be loved
Loving
What should be used
Its a parallel
universe
In which
We live
Torn between
The true
or
false
essence
Of
Humanity
We are all
Inhumane
