Don't solve my problems
Don't wipe my nose
Don't wash my dishes
Don't launder my clothes
Don't wipe the counters
Don't clean the floors
Don't vacuum the rug
I can't take anymore

Just Love Me.

Acerbic antagonist alliterates agonizing accusations,
blasting ******* backbiter butting beautiful bombastic brainy blond bomb.
Cumulative cranial casualties cease caveman's cognitive coherence.
Doom digger derides Daddy's dangling dire dreary ****.

Eclectic esoteric eccentric egotistical estranger;
Forthcoming fathoms fetch faithless fleeting father.
God given goblins gather gossamer ganglions;
Hell's hairy harlot harpies hover heeding Hyperion.

Ignatius imbibes irrevocably insisting,
"Jesus juggles justice's joy jarring jams."
Kindness kindles Kilimanjaro;
Malicious mountains melt, Mmm, morning marjoram.

Nothing negates Neanderthal ninnying.
Overt obsessions obfuscate original object of
purest passions, paltry past pinings,
quickly quieted, quelled,
resisted, relinquished, readily, ruefully, roundly
saturated, suffocated; surreptitiously silenced,
terribly torturing the thrashed tamed tormentor:

Ugly, ungrateful, unapologetic,
Vanity,
woefully wallowing, wailing, "Where's
Xanadu's
zeitgeist!?"

I told You how I doubted You,
I threw it in Your Face.
I confronted You with anger,
and you gave me Saving Grace.
I spat on sacred scripture,
tearing loopholes in Your Word,
and You portioned me patience.

How strange the Peace I felt.
My conscience didn't bother me
after the jibes I dealt.

Instead I hear You calling me
to evaluate this life I'm living;
To reconsider rejecting You
because You really are Forgiving.

Instead of wrath and lightening bolts,
instead of a numbing void...
You were happy just to hear from me,
You don't even seem annoyed.

God doesn’t know hopeless
Luridhope Jan 2012
God doesn’t know hopeless,
on this I agree.
Jesus only suffered the mortal coil
until the age of thirty.
He had a mom and two dads,
two more than most get,
and they loved Him a lot,
on that you can bet.
Jesus never had to suffer
a disability,
In fact Jesus was perfect;
It’s FAILURE that defines you and me.
So the next time you take solace in a God who relates,
remember Jesus never sinned,
He didn’t even *******.
Thank You Jesus for showing us the way…
by being nothing like us?
What else can I say?

Bed Trip
Luridhope Jan 2012
Quiet flip on the metaphysical bed trip;

life of lies,

despised and prized

depending on your eyes.

Hearts and minds

out of tune

at war with a score

of demons, angels, and cold hard facts,

so warm,

so freeing,

so fleeting.

Words carved,

paradigms forced,

a child coerced

into unworthiness

and a need to blessed.

Now I'm stressed and unsuccessful

in the only world there is

under the impression

that every failure is my fault,

and every victory, His.

God of the church,

we pick and choose

from your sacred Word

what's good for body

and what's better left unused.

I believe in evolution.

I believe in the Noah

MYTH

as the dysfunctional product of an angry God who gets away with pith.

I believe in You,

don't hurt me,

thank you for my life.

Thank for repeatedly kicking my ***

until I turn my back

and sticking in a knife.

For God so loved the world

that he gave his only son

because he ****** up so bad the first time around

it had to be undone.

For God so loved the world

that he sentenced us to hell,

why blame us for the sins of the world

if He created us so well.

Jesus you are awesome.

I want to follow you...

and live a life of poverty

failing at everything I do.

Rise up and walk I say,

but the dead they do not rise,

be healed in Jesus' name I say,

but they think I'm crazy...

you can see it in their eyes.

This is because my faith is weak,

and the faith of the lost so weaker,

If only I could just be like...

well can you name another miracle working Kingdom seeker

in this day and age?

Perhaps the Holy Spirit has left us

and we're already past the end of days.

She
Luridhope Dec 2011
She
She’ll say goodnight to the sunrise
With a twinkle in her eye
The sun pays no mind
And she cries like a child if told otherwise;
Like a woman in love

She goes out of her way
To get him a star
When all he wanted was the moon
A star too soon
And she cries from the wound;
Like a woman in love

She shares her bed without a ring
Roses under dust
Dry leaves in the wind
Ice on the drive
Vaulted thoughts
And she cries like a maiden
A princess in a tower,
A trodden upon flower;
A woman in love.

Two minds with four different eyes
No two pieces deemed to fit
Shadows under different light
Clinging to the same unmoving stone
Alone and apart
Without ever sharing the same heart
She cries without ever letting him know
Tears falling as silently as snow
Without a word she lets him go
Like a woman out of love.
