poor man
Lupe Jacobson Jan 2013
The pains grown on him
grown into him,
You can see it in the drips of
His tired eyes,
In the extra 100 pounds of weight
Around his waist,
In the desperate laugh of
A man longing for
Affection.
Death surrounds him in a
Cloud of filthy humid loneliness.
You would think, through
So much sadness a dry and
Respectful humor would encompass
His company,
No,
A dying man attracts no laughter,
With a wounded soldier comes only guilt.

Take backs?
Lupe Jacobson Mar 2013
Pulsing with a simple poison,
Drowsy with a common sin
Laughing running wanting touch
a boys skin,
a slight rush.
Today Now is all I hear
Tomorrow is laters fear
I reach for yet another sip
As I caress his upper lip
My best friend is now gone
As my desires are one way pawns.
Seduction becomes control
Nothing can stop us bet El Sol,
As fun as the night will be
Our bodies swaying to Bob Marley
I regret losing you
Friendship is what friends will do
Awkwardness now fills the silence
sober touch now makes him tense.

Rejected used torn apart,
Sadness cascading down your heat
Play it tough; act like you don't care
Trying to drown to the beat of the snare.

You want experience love and reality
But this is a big boys world
certainly not me
your socialistic class hurts
Your tired of all the jackin off jerks.

We get swept into a mind game
padded only with more
your friends become your enemies
looking solely to score.

Once a month turns to once a day
searching for ways to pay
the downward spirals clouding your future
please little sister stay lovely and pure.

Fear Itself
Lupe Jacobson Jan 2013
I'm scared of the pressure
I'm scared of the trying,
I'm scared of the work
I'm scared of the lying.
I'm scared of the expectations
and the sighing,
the time consumption and no product
the heavy lifting and no tummy tucked.
But what i fear the most
is fear itself,
The fact that i could have been somebody
But instead i pretended
the ground was too muddy,
I'd wait for the sun
but by then my promising
runner had run.
My lazy beginning regretted the limited fun.

Im gunna come back and get you he said
young girl excited and confident
didn't know she was headin towards the years she would dread
months at a time
searching for a sign
kept a little hope
it helped her cope
He said it with a fury in his eyes
you can only imagine her surprise
when a boy said to her,
who knew the whole story,
your ****** out of your mind
your wasting your time
hes forgotten bout you
a college man
has his whole future to plan
why would he wait for a girl
as young as you?
you still got to grow up
you're a baby.
He had an idea
he said maybe
I could teach you the ropes of adulthood,
only if you'd be willing but I would.
He taught me but I didn't learn much
I was waiting for a real man's touch.

An earthquake hit a tornado,
While a hurricane casually
walked by,
The scientists mad this happen,
and the people asked why?
IN order to create calm
there must be great destruction.
Freedom can only come
from a prominent explosion.
The world was calm,
the earth at ease,
Too bad there weren't any
people to enjoy this feast.
Because fighting great power with
power results in many deceased.

Her
Lupe Jacobson Jan 2013
Her
Her first intake was a cry of life,
Her first breath a sigh of relief
She lived within the wise trees
Among the youthful valleys
Throughout the shy and mighty winds.
She cried with the prey
She sprung with the predators,
Laughed with the leaves
Lay with the rivers
Fell with the minds of men
And rose again with their hearts.
This land was hers
These oceans she owned
Because she let herself feel,
The good along with the bad
Hope as well as despair,
Joy along with sorrow,
Both love and hate
She was free
And the world was hers for the taking.
