A's
A's
                                                                             A's are
                                                                          So coveted.
                                                                    They           Cause
                                                              Sleepless             Nights
                                                         And loud exhalations in every
                                                      Student's long career in education.
So hard to get                  Yet so easy to
                                            Lose. They cause                    Heated arguments
                                           Within families                        And warm embraces.
You need to put                           Forth an effort to earn
Them, but still are                            Very much fulfilling.

Squinting through the light
Watching the cranes saunter by
Throughout green, wet grass

Dear Feet,
I wish I could thank you, praise you.
You have never left from under my body
Always supporting me. You take me places
I have never been before and allow me to revisit familiar
Ones which invoke a sense of safety or remember times past
Of joy, family, and laughs. I can always count on you
To 10 to be exact, but really, you are the motor to my body.
Always propelling me forward in life.
Thank you feet.

Joyous is a blue grocery bag
Swing in the grasp of of happy young
Boy content with his provisions.
Joyous is a blue grocery bag
Holding all the necessaries for
An expectant mother.
Joyous is a blue grocery bag.

Playing with my family
Hearing birds chirping
Looking at the sun
While my heart is beating
Up and down in my chest.
I feel so happy
I don't know why.
So happy.
Now the sun sets
On my perfect day
Still happy.
As the day comes to an end,
I look back and think,
What a great day.

I clearly hear the insects and birds tweeting, chirping, humming
In complete unison, but cannot distinctly tell which is which.
The chilling, whistling wind brushes up against my bare skin
Causing goosebumps which is peculiar because the sun is glaring
Down like a teacher at a disobedient student.
The scent of the evergreens is a baseball bat hitting my nostrils taking me back
And the wispy clouds dotting the sky as if giant's footprints had created them.
All while I'm admiring the nature around me, I am just sitting on the wet grass
Chilling me just as the swirling wind.
