Shovel on the sunshine,
bury me in it.
The warm embrace
seeping into my pores-
seeping into my very soul.
Until the rays reflect
into me and unto others,
all my sisters and brothers;
the sunshine children.

Titans of glass
shatter and fall down as
razor-rain,
slicing and shredding
without any resistance
my once wholesome perceptions.
Once made of stone,
hardened by longing.
So delicate, now;
theses feelings are fragile.
With all of the stones,
so carelessly thrown
by you.

A fresh morning dew
crossing spectrum in soft light
from the rising sun

Young, timid fingers
uphold the sun in one hand
casting silhouettes
A haiku.

Wounds must heal!
heal the hurt, and bury our sorrows like bones,
deep inside the earth
drenched in centuries of blood;
pain,
hate.
Let us not know these things again!
Too much was lost in recompense,
so let the life we dreamed of,
take root with the mightiest trees,
inter-sowed with pure intentions
planted innocently, in the guise of something greater
outreached to a once blackened sky
the sun is the only fire left burning, now
burning with hope-
prosperity.
Peace.

A million stars in a crowded sky
laid in rows, side-by-side.
Behind these stars, dreams reside.
Black at first, burn alight
in brilliant flashes, colors and hues
from scarlet reds, to sapphire blues,
until theses astral bodies are subdued
I will watch these stars tonight

Soft and subtle;
a song on the breeze
make alive,
the rustling leaves
swaying grass,
shuffling reeds
the joys of life
inviting me
to nights of peace,
days so free

— The End —
