The Hourglass
A Dec 2017
Sand's pouring down gracefully.
Running fast on roads.
Time has life,
And
Life has time.
Road's on fast running,
Gracefully down pouring sands.
First palindrome style attempt but with a twist. A 7-5-3-1-3-5-7 syllable count on each line.

Last Wish of the Dying
A Nov 2017
As I catch my last breath,
I wish to speak my last words.
Taking the opportunity before death
That this message would be heard.

I'm sorry friends families and foes,
My body is like of a decaying rose,
To the one I love, I will miss you the most,
From the day we've met till you gave me my daily dose.

Scurrying away, the life of a diseased one.
Soon enough, I will be a deceased man.
I feel the chill, the Death has come,
And all the pain will soon be gone.

Oh please don't cry, I want you to be happy.
Because someday, somehow you would be able to see me,
Once that day comes, we'll eat, dance and party
But now, smiling is all you can do for me.

As these words' coming to an end, I would say you this.
Don't forget about me, if you please,
But don't weep, be happy and have peace
For that's a dying man's only wish.
I dedicate this to my friend who died because of aneurysm. A loud and happy man whose death is so sudden he doesn't got the chance to say goodbye. For someone who has a dying love one, don't weep. To see you happy is their only wish.

Happy or sad?
Simultaneous Feeling within me.
Good or bad?
The skies are falling but I've been set free.
Full or empty?
In the brink of having my palms touch yours.
Beautiful or unsightly?
Giving in but ended up craving for more.
Condor or hypocrisy?
I said to myself I won't think of you again.
Innocent or guilty?
As I think of you while holding my pen.
Too early or too late?

She made me do it...
A Oct 2017
After all these, I wasn't sure at all,
If I'm gonna hang myself or simply fall.
My tears dried up and I feel numb.
Overpowered thoughts, surely, I will succumb.

You're smile and laugh, I won't forget,
As I put this rope directly to my neck.
Here I stand on a chair, made of wood.
And kicked it out! Of course I would.

Seconds later, I barely can't breathe.
Choking upon the rope, I'm starting to weep.
I remember the time when we first met.
I can never believe that this is what I get.

I started to realize all my senses are gone.
My vision's getting blurry 'till there was none.
My ears are bleeding, I can't hear any more.
Torpid as I am, the struggle is no more.

Three days later, someone came.
Cause of a bad smell, oh, what a shame.
Then they asked me, "What have you done?"
She made me do it. She's the only one.

You could say it's gold
That it heals all wound
Or an illusion
That cause the world's evolution.

It can build. It can destroy.
It can make us happy or else it could annoy.
Too long? Too short? We have all been given.
Life's not fair when the clock is tickin'.

The past shapes who you are.
Whether you stick with it or go afar.
They say past is not important of who you wanted to be.
After all it's just a piece of unwritten history.

The future holds what lies within.
It could be worse or better;nobody has seen.
The future is like a box which is inside you couldn't see.
What's it looks like is still a mystery.

The present is a spontaneous series of events.
Where decisions are made whether or not it is meant.
Go ahead. Give your head a lift.
It is called present cause it was always been a gift.
