Saving lives loosing them
Having a straight face while faced with the worried faces relying on you to tell wether your loved ones will make it out of the hospital room alive. The faces of young children diagnosed with terminal diseases forcing back your tears and swallowing the pain of seeing the young fade.

They say memories are golden
Well maybe it's true
I never wanted memories I only wanted you
A million times I needed you
A million time I cried if love alone could've saved you
You never would've died
If tears could make a staircase
And heartache make a lane
I would walk a path to heaven and bring you back again
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again

Little kids growing up without no education,mom is on drugs coz that is her only medication
Nobody's home but they are not on a vacation,but they left the kids alone watching the tv station
What's wrong with the picture, please someone give me the answers
Then we wonder why the girls grow up to be dancers
Then we wonder why the boys grow up to be dealers
And they be angry at the whole world ready to **** us

Who sits down at the corner of a bathroom crying and cutting herself with a blade

Who has had her heart torn by the spears of 20 men
This is for the girl who won't stop reading this poem without sheding a tear

God made you beautiful and you are given a special gift and purpose to be on the grounds of earth
