Them
Adigwe Emmanuel Mar 2016
I saw them;
All looking like
Angels.
They moved with the
Wind
And their garments
Danced lightly
Upon invisible waves.
They all smelt alike:
They all smelt like
Crushed roses.
The fear of joy
Stained their eyes
And scarred their souls.
They had been happy
Too much in the past.
Marks of smiles
And laughter
Have turned into
Something
In between.
They all sounded alike:
They all sounded:
Dead.

Let's go back to the beginning:
First,
I have a large heart,
and I hope it doesn't get congested.
I sat,a rose;
it was a bed of thorns,
still,I, enjoyed it's comfort. But
dust soon fell.
Born of my head. Tongues of my mind;
It was a dream.
I closed my eyes to see. What a beautiful sight.
She pulled me by my left hand,"come here you,"
she whispered.
I was awoken to the sight of near-black,
but I held her firm.
Her breath greeted my face,
letting loose my balance.
She pulled me by my shirt;
"don't fall sweet." "Kiss me." -
And her lips melted into mine,
with her tongue searching for treasures-
All I did was welcome her to my island.
She spared a moment to stare into my eyes,
before going in for another ****.
Within muffled moans,
under her blouse found my right hand.
...   .
Many of this and her come and stay;
Even the mottling.
Let's go back to the beginning:
I have a large heart,
and I hope it doesn't get congested.

She looked beautiful.
She looked prettier
Than the stars,
And the wind gentle
In her wake.
A peek,
And I was Wordnapped.
...................   .....................
She looked beautiful; but
She was not beautiful.
