Have you heard the whispers of my love?
I sent them to you, my dear.
The trees the bend and bow to the one who so easily conquered my heart.
The wind sighs, never tired of watching a new love grow.
Oh to hear the brook giggle, entertained by the simplicity of love.
Warm rays shine down, tickling my skin, for the sun approves of the match.
So you see my dear, I sent my love.
You only need to watch the world a little closer.

You won't want me anymore.
Once you leave it'll close the door.
I'll be left in the cold... My hearts already sold.
My eyes will go dull and yours... Well they'll brighten with me gone.
Each day for you will be new, for me my days will slip into a darker hue.
You'll move on to a better love... I'll stay here... My heart still won.
But go ahead.
Go on to better dreams.... I'll go on being yours, only this time falling apart at the seams.
I wrote this last night, scared that I was gonna have to watch someone I love leave.

The glowing orange under his limbs beckoned.
His fingers twisted and flickered into the darkness, reaching for her.
He wanted her, all of her.
And when he got what he wanted he would disappear.
Disappear like smoke into the night.
Her heart would burn, it would blacken.
Smoky words would pour from his gorgeous lips.
She'd watch herself melt into him, only to watch their "love" go out with breath she took.
All she wanted was to keep that warmth in her heart.
But all she'd be left with is the taste of smoke on her lips

I will be your lover in the light.
Your safe harbor at night.
When your feeling alone I'll be the one to guide you home.
Follow me with bright eyes,
I'll protect you from the lies.
Let me be the wind beneath your wings, the whispers of hope in your dreams.
I'll be your strength, your confidence.
I'll be yours
