Misery
Libby Biscotti Feb 2011
Misery.
See the first three letters?
Twist them,
Fight them,
Love them,
Add an S to M i s,
And you have something you can't get rid of,
Even if you tried.

Feelings tonight.
Libby Biscotti Feb 2011
The way my cheeks hurt,
My stomach feels pain,
My head throbs,
My fingers shaking,
My palms clammy,
My antidote to kick in,
My knee caps lock,
My face starts to itch,
My teeth clenched,
My finger nails no longer anything left to chew,
My toes tingling,
My upper right chest, feeling pressure,
My sight becoming fuzzy,
My thoughts mixed frequently.
My friend.

I love you, too.

Drizzly
Libby Biscotti Feb 2011
As the waves hit my feets,
I realize,
It is
Raining.

My favorite time to be,
To be anything,
If not
Only, only
Alive.

Sunshine.1
Libby Biscotti Feb 2011
When you say, slow down,
I know, you do not mean it.
And when your eyes, they crinkle in such sync with your nose,
So perfectly,
As you just found out, the sun can't shine in our town tonight.
And when the rain, hits your face just so,
Makes your eyes glisten louder than the clear rain.
And as you try to prove right and wrong,
Stumbling,
When I was right, all along.
And when you spoke so gently,
About something so heavy,
Only to hear the bell go,
We stood so still,
Silent,
And heard the drizzle
Disappear.
Felt the warmth,
On our damp backs...
Feeling more than just moisture.
But,
Just this once,
I
might
pretend
fantasy
is
not
always
so
wrong.
