little ******* the street
with the beat in her feet
taping to the rhythmic rthey of the world
rather than just walking and
gathering the grim facts of life
but not this
Corona street girl

now a teenage girl alone in the world

she knows the world people
is a dager

Bits of food linger on plates
That Dangrosly dance
on the very edge of the counter top.
While forks and knifes
lay adbandon on plates
or drowned in dish water

Once beautiful platters
Presented a Lovely spread
now gone and devoured
and litter Dinning room

Now, the sound of snores
the clinking of sliver wear
sleepy yawns
with the  sharp noise
of knifes scraping on plates
mingle in the air

Now nothing is left
but the remains of the turkey
now all bones and bare
It's the end of Thanksgiving, so I thought I'd write a poem about it. A bit random, but hope you all enjoy.

I got nothing to write today,
But i thought I'd try
Just so I could, ya know
say hi.
It's my first poem here
and I might as well make it count.
And tell me everyone,
What do you write about?
