Age
Life grants us the gift to become old,
becoming old grants us the gift of wisdom,
wisdom grants us the gift to understand.

Everyday the same thing,
working the nine to five,
making barley enough money,
to keep myself alive,
I strive for greatness,
but always fall short of the line,
so bitter it tastes,
so sweet to make,
I call this life,
I don't call this fate,
people relying on him to help them with their cause,
but behind those peoples eyes are more than only flaws,
the lies your told,
these words are a disease,
I can help myself,
I don't need to be on my knees,
IM FREE,
I LIVE FREE,
AND SURE AS HELL I"LL DIE FREE,
because those who can not fend for themselves,
well they'll never know what it means to BE!

The Minty taste that’s held within my lip

I grab a bottle unscrew the lid then i proceed to spit

Liquid brown like muddy water

My gums receding even farther

Why bother

This is what i do

I’ll loose a tooth or maybe two

But it’s cool

Because i can chew way more than i can bite

And i know i can talk way better than i can fight

This is my vice i suggest you find yours

Stop worrying about other people

But you never want to ignore.

My mind likes to wonder
Yet so does my feet
I'll lay in my bed all night
and yet I can not fall asleep,
Is this a curse
or is this sign
or blessing in disguise,
I've asked myself so many questions
but I've never received a reply,
A new journey awaits all of us
yet sometimes we shy off in fear,
embrace the universe
it is the shoulder that drys our tears,
with my mind drawing blanks
and my feet that are on fire
I will journey into the unknown
because the unknown is what WE desire.
